Noel Louis Elmer Certain

My condolences to the family. I am grateful to have known Noel Certain. He was my friend, my brother and my family. Thank you, Noel, for being part of my life!

My condolences to the family. I knew Noel through his membership in the Emporia State Athletics Hall of Honor. He was a kind and generous man in all of our conversations, and I will miss the occasional phone call I would get from him to discuss his time in Kansas. He still holds our school record in the long jump after over 65 years.

I was one of your worst students that went on to become a history teacher. Thank you for being a stand up guy and positive role mode.

While I never had Mr. Certain as a teacher or coach he was always very friendly. I'm sure he will be missed by all who knew him.
