Audrey Little

Noel & Joan were best friends of my husband Wally Little and me, wife Audrey, during the first year Joan and I both taught school. I believe it was in London . We had so much fun together, also had babies about the same time. We have seen them over the years but not recently. I remember when Lori was very young she was very tiny when she started walking! We were very blessed to have so many happy times together. Sending my love and condolences. Audrey Little, currently living in Stratford.

What a wonderful family you were when we met each other in the Intensive Care Unit. It was my absolute pleasure to take care of your husband, father, grandfather. I apologize for the COVID precautions that didn't allow for everyone to attend however I was grateful to have had the chance to meet all of you.
My condolences to you.

We were so sad to hear of Noels passing. I have known "Mr.Henderson" since I was able to remember. He was one of my Dad's longest friendships and someone that meant so much to our whole family. Fitness, hiking ,cottage dinners and cross country skiing at our cottage was what I remember. He loved a good story (to tell or to hear) and laughing out loud. I recall sharing " Sales experiences" as we were both in sales. This brought us even closer, and gave us a new subject to lament and laugh about.
Noel will be Sorely missed by the Rees Family on the West Coast.

I always especially enjoyed Noel's company when he would Visit North Carolina. Whether it was a graduation party or a camping trip, he always jumped in to help out and made everything more fun with his fun loving attitude and jovial spirit. He leaves a legacy of love and caring that will be missed.

I am so sorry to hear of Noel's passing...my heart goes out to his family. I was very, very young when I knew Noel and Joan...I think I was about 12. I remember them as Junior Girl (I think...it could have been Junior Boy) counsellors at Camp Wanapitei. Noel and Joan were a young married couple at the time. I still remember their gentle kindness. I never got to know them well but never forgot them either.

Noel was an everpresent fixture in the Rees family enterprise; if he wasn't travelling with mom and dad, or at the cottage or the house, he was in our thoughts. Kind, wise, never taking himself or the world too seriously, he asked many questions, listened intently, and was a dear friend of our family. He will surely be missed not just by my dad and mom, but also all the Rees kids and grandkids, too.

Noel was a gifted raconteur, a thinker, a comedian, a nature lover, an asker of questions, a quiet social justice warrior, and a proud Canadian. He was a glorious combination of enthusiasm, positivity, energy, and self-effacing wisdom. But at his most elemental, Noel was love. For over 30 years I watched Noel dedicate himself, in love, to his Joan, his kids, their kids, and his large knot of friends, extended family, and causes. "Take a good look now, 'cause we'll ne'er see the likes of him again."

I will remember Noel as an advocate for those who are the most vulnerable around the world and those impacted by food insecurity. I admired the way that he dedicated many years to highlighting the work of the Canadian Foodgrains Bank. To his family, we are praying for you as you grieve the loss of a such wonderful man.
