Age 76, of Lawrenceville, on Mon., Oct. 27, 2008, husband of the late Beverly A. (Bentz) Marinack and Mildred (Coffey) Marinack, father of N. John (Marian) Marinack, Jr., Cheryl (Robert) Holloway and Kenneth P. (Heidi) Marinack, grandfather of Michael, Natalie, Katherine Marinack, Robert Jr. and John Holloway, Raymond Wroblewski, Nicole McManus, Bambi, Tatum, Cory, Haley and Brayden Marinack, great-grandfather of Lana and Victoria Marinack, brother of Mary Anne Marinack, Donald Marinack and Darlene Schiffer. Friends received at the WALTER J. ZALEWSKI FUNERAL HOME, 216 44th St., Lawrenceville, Thurs. noon until 8 pm. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of the Angels Parish, St. Augustine Church on Fri. at 11:30am. The name "Norbert" is of Teutonic origin and means "Northern Hero". To all who knew him Norbert was certainly heroic- having served his country in time of war, and more importantly, having served his family's and friends' needs first throughout all of his life, even at great personal sacrifice. May we be so fortunate to continue to have such heroes to inspire and spur us on ...and thank you Norbert, Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great- Grandfather, Uncle, Brother and Friend...for having done so much for so many of us. To Norbert's Family.
I'm a cousin through marriage, daughter-in-law of Martin and Nellie Marinack. Got to know your Dad when we were growing up and he worked to the drugstore @ 34th Street.
My sympathy to all of you.

I am sorry for your loss. My mother (Mary Ann Bombich) brought to my attention because we were from Lawrenceville. My father who is deceased was named Norbert. The way you described your loss reminded us so much of my father Norbert Bombich. It was very emotional the words you used to describe Norbert. This was my dad to the fullest! I will always remember these words. My deepest sympathy for you loss and my God bless you and guide you.
