Norbert Silva Jr. Obituary
Norbert lived life to the fullest, having never met a stranger in his life. He was a jack of all trades who was never shy in lending a hand or an ear and, above all else, held the greatest pride and admiration for his 5 children and 3 grandchildren. Norbert will be remembered for his sense of humor, love of music, passion for fishing and cooking, and larger than life personality.
A memorial service will be held in his honor on Saturday, April 13, 2024 from 10am-2pm at Funeraria Del Angel Mission, 3611 N. Taylor Rd., Mission, TX 78573.
We love you dad, and we'll think of you and miss you always.

I knew Norbert briefly in high school. We became close friends and managed to get into all sorts of trouble. I remember his big smile and his great sense of humor! Another classmate and I were just chatting today about our high school days and we just learned of this. I know he directed us to this site, may God rest his sole and give comfort to his family. Norbert, you now have the peace you lacked, needed, seeked and deserve. You will be greatly missed.
As the father of my 3 kids, you always had a special place in my heart, and always will. I'm grateful that we remained friends to the end.
Thank you for loving and our children. I know you struggled at times, but you did show real love. You were a great dad!
You taught me so much, but above all....you taught me about God. Thank you!
Now, there you are, watching over us with Jesus by your side. God is Good!!
