Noreen Sue Slade

Noreen Sue Slade Rockford - Noreen Sue Slade, 68, of Rockford, IL, passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer on Monday, November 21, 2022. She was born January 16, 1954, in Rockford, the daughter of Allen and Josephine (Ingrassia) Harrington. She graduated from Jefferson High School. She worked for 39 years at OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center. She married Timothy Slade on August 20, 1988. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by her children, Matthew (Jessie) Slade, Rebecca Slade, Courtney Parson-Slade; Grandchildren, Brennan and Liam Klein, Eva Parson; brother, Brian (Peggy Singer) Harrington; sister, Joanne (Charles) Cavaness; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins; father-in-law, Jack Slade; brother-in-law, James(Kim) Slade; sisters-in-law, Shirley Johnson and Kimberly Loy. Predeceased by her husband Timothy Slade; parents, Allen and Josephine Harrington; mother-in-law, Kay Slade; brother, Stephen Johnson; grandparents, Emery Earl and Susie Mae Harrington, Salvadore and Ruth Ingrassia. Visitation will be at 1 p.m. Friday, December 9th, 2022, in Centennial Multicultural United Methodist Church 1503 Broadway, Rockford, IL 61104. Memorial service to follow at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family for the children and final expenses.
