To Norms family I live in Burlington Vt. Myself and two friends one who is with Norm now went to J.C. Penney's Dept store then located on Church St in Burlington
we were young kids who went there just to meet Norm it was a promo. Norm
was a very big man who was very very nice to us, spent time talking and signing
autos I never ever will forget that, we had to be like 14 it was 72 or 73 . He made a lasting impression on us. I had to call my old friend and say do you remember that day he said Tim I sure do. Very sad day when I heard Norm had passed but I also thanked him again. I really hope someone from Norms family reads this he was a awesome guy!! Our Prayers are with Norms family. But most of all Thank you Norm

I was your Washington Post paperboy when you lived behind PG Shopping Center--Bellcrest Apartments while with the Skins. You were a good tipper. You became my football idol. I learned to grip the football just like you and followed religiously your NFL career. Later, I too played QB in HS/College emulating your drop back and bombs down field. May you RIP. l

Great memories of working out with Norm at Herman's Health Club in Newport News along with Benny McRae summer of 1965. Then in the late 80s Norm was a part of Herman's Early Bird Club, what a joy! When asked would he do it all over again he would reply "Yes, the money is much better and so is the surgery".

Long and solid pro career, and a starting caliber QB. Anyone who followed the NFL, in that particular era, was familiar with Norm. His list of accomplishments, in both the college and pro games, is noteworthy. And it was fun seeing him in a Niner uniform, toward the end of his playing days.

Rest in peace, Norm.

Cindy;
Peggy, Nathan, Stephanie & I send our deepest condolences on the passing of your Dad.
I remember years ago, when you were babysitting, Nate & I saw your Dad in the locker room at the Fitness center. I said to Nate, do you know who that is? Your Dad heard me & looked, sort of proudly, and I said "that´s Cindy´s Dad! End of my football stories.
You were such a great influence on the kids. Thank you & your parents for raising such a great daughter.
