I'm so sorry for your loss. So many fond childhood memories of Norma and her welcoming smile and contagious laugh from the summers I spent at Lantern Pointe and Aunt Gert's cottage. She obviously kept her sense of humor through the years! My thoughts and prayers go out to my distant cousins. Peace and Love, Hope

Ray, know that my thoughts are with you, I met you at the Aumands fire and you tried to interview my son Bryan. I lost my mom last Feb, so please know I know what you are going through. She sounds like a wonderful lady

I just googled this obit after hearing about it. I must say, our Father in Heaven got his funny little girl by his side to make Him giggle. Made me smile hoping to be a "groovy grandma" like Miss Norma when I am older.

If you made so many people laugh with your obit, I cannot imagine how many people you gave joy to during your life!!! God Bless you Norma!

Death is hard on family...I believe this woman knew her children, and other family members left behind would take her departure hard..she left on a high note...well played Miss Norma...I didn't know you..but I know I would have enjoyed you...witty and silly don't quite do you justice. I came across her Obituary accidentally, and it truly uplifted my spirits when I needed it. Thank you Norma, I hope I have the same spirit when I am older as you do. My condolences to the family.

Norma Brewer, a family jewel, moved to a prominent place in the crown of heaven. Her new residence shines like the pearls of wisdom she shared with those who were privileged to know her.
Now, Norma makes the Lord smile with her humor and her love of a good time.

To the Family of Mrs. Brewer, Mrs. Brewer has brightened many people with this wonderful obituary. I too have written my own but this is one worthy of remembering with a smile. I didn't know her but will forever remember her. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to Mrs. Brewer's family and friends.

I had to come and read this great obituary of a woman whom I know I would have been honored to meet. Meeting death with humor is simply a gift. I am sure in Heaven they welcomed her with a laugh and open arms.

Many people realize that attempting the summit is not as much fun as base camp, where all your friends are. I think I'll rest awhile at base camp to meet many more friends than I would at the summit, not that the summit would not be breathing, but most of your friends would never make, and I would always prefer to be with friends than alone at the summit. I'll see you at base camp everyone.
