Norma Falletti (nee Uccelli)

Norma Falletti (nee Uccelli) passed away peacefully on October 30, 2017 in her home in San Mateo, at the age of 97. Born and raised on the family ranch on Grand Ave. in South San Francisco, she was the fifth of six surviving children born to Pietro & Maria Uccelli, who came from Italy in the early 1900's to farm in California. She was a teller at the Bank of America on Grand Ave. when she met the love of her life, grocer Louis Falletti, of the Bay Area's Falletti Foods. She married, moved to the Peninsula, raised a family and enjoyed gardening and traveling throughout her life. Norma was preceded in death by her husband of 27 years, Louis; her son Robert; and her loving brothers: John Uccelli, George Uccelli & Peter Uccelli, Jr.; and sisters Lenore Varni & Alice Marsili. She is survived by her daughter Janet McGavin; son-in-law Michael McGavin; grandchildren: Erik Moss, Monica McGavin & Grace McGavin, sister-in-law Paula Uccelli; and numerous nieces, nephews and their families. The family especially wishes to thank Norma's wonderful caregiver of many years, Lucy Cabel. Her caring and kind devotion made Norma's last years comfortable and happy. Visitation begins at 5pm followed by a Vigil at 6pm on Friday, November 10th. Funeral Liturgy will be held at 11am on Saturday, November 11th. All services will be held at Sneider & Sullivan & O'Connell's Funeral Home, 977 S. El Camino Real, San Mateo, CA. Private interment at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Colma, CA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or your favorite charity.
