To Alvie Dixon and the family of Norma Grant;
So sorry to see the paper that your sister and mother passed away. I know this is a difficult time and will keep you in my prayers.
I am the daughter of Florence and Melvin Hill, Rhoda Farrell's granddaughter. I can remember many times visiting Norma and Eddie when we would stop by to see Uncle Theodore and Aunt Goldie. They were both fine people and Mom and Dad enjoyed their time spent together.
I tried to contact Norma in September to let her know that Mom passed away September 27, but was unable to reach her and did not have an address.
It is hard, but if your mother was in deteriorating health as mother was in the last month, you will realize that she is much happier now. Selfishly I sometimes wish her back but would not want her to have to experience anymore discomfort.
Please know you are all in my prayers.

Alvin and Nancy, Mike, Ronnie and Penny....I am so sorry. Norma was a lovely Christian lady, humble and genuine. Throughout my growing up days in Humboldt Christian Church, she was always there, could be depended on to prepare communion or help with Bible school classes or anything that needed doing. During the years my mother was married to Theodore, Norma was so kind to her. My heart goes out to you, and my love and prayers are with you.
