Norma was a wonderful Sister-in-law. She was very kind and I’d never heard a harsh word from her.
My Brother Larry Wayne and Norma took me into their home. When my Father died, our Mother had died years earlier.
I’ll always cherish those days in Clarksville Tennessee, where they lived. And I was their when they had their first born. James
Brother Larry was so proud, I still remember his cigar and a glass of wine we shared in the celebration of a new life.
Brother Larry made sure I finished High School! He bought me my first gun, shot many a squirrel and rabbits with that 20 ga. Went fishing with Uncles and cousins too! They agreed I could get a dog, but I wasn’t very responsible, so dog went back. Brother Larry got me a job at a chicken farm. It was interesting job. Lots of chickens, hundreds I took care of. Every morning I’d got feed them. How? The system was automatic. Food moved slowly along a belt (tray) and chicks would hopped on the belt and ate while getting a ride!
Water was just large circular trays with water slowly added. Taught me responsibilities. And it was fun! All them chicken running up to me in the morning!

Norma was a nurturer and cared about my well being. I’ll miss her, we chatted from time to time throughout the years.
She was such a great encouragement to me.
Love You Norma
