Norma SALHANY Obituary
1928 - 2014
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Norma Salhany on December 7, 2014 at the age of 86. Predeceased by her daughter Carolyn, she will be sadly missed by her husband Fouad Salhani, her daughter Barbara; her loving sisters Alice (Elias), Doreen (late Nelson), Marlene and Cheryl (Ghassan); sisters and brothers-in-law: Prudence, Nancy, Salwa, Ted (Marilyn), Roger and Rose (late Elie); sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. The family will receive condolences on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 from 2 to 5 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. at Urgel Bourgie Funeral Complex, 1255 Beaumont Avenue, TMR. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 11 at 10 a.m. at St. Nicholas Antiochian Orthodox Church, 80, de Castelneau East, Montreal; the family will receive condolences at the church as of 9 a.m. Donations may be made to St. Nicholas Church.

To Fouad, Barbara and the family of Norma I extend my sincerest condolences on the loss of a great lady. Not only did Norma always have a smile, She never uttered a negative word about anyone. In addition to this she spent 70 years of her life singing in the St. Nicholas Church Choir. Unknown to her, she had a 'nick name'. We called her a Saint. She will be sorely missed. May she rest in peace and may her memory be eternal.
