Born in Haverhill on April 30, 1929. Beloved husband of Andrea Kozinetz. Devoted father of Herbert Holtz and his wife Nancy, Jane Holtz, all of Charlestown, and Thomas Holtz of Newton. Dear grandfather of W. Hunter Holtz and Harry Holtz. Loving brother of Dr. Sumner Holtz and his wife Barbara of St. Louis, and the late Melvin Holtz.
He leaves devoted nieces and nephews, cousins and neighbors.
ARRANGEMENTS: Services at The Newton Cemetery Chapel, 791 Walnut St., Newton, on Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at 1 p.m. Following services and interment a memorial observance will be held at his residence until 9 p.m. Wednesday, and Thursday, 2 to 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, remembrances to Newton Schools Foundation, 100 Walnut St., Newton, MA 02460; or Newton Free Library, 330 Homer St., Newton, MA 02459. Arrangements by Brezniak-Rodman Funeral Directors, Newton.

we here on davenpot were very sorry to here about norman. we all loved him and were very sorry when he left us. i,m sorry i missed you when you came in. thank you for the desserts and all the times when you remembered us when you came to visit. we will remember him and yourself fondly.
