Norman made the world a better and happier place by making it ok to laugh at ourselves and not take life too seriously. Lightening the load from our daily life. This message of love and friendship is from all your friends and family at the Center for Unity.

Norman Lear. What can be said, every sitcom he wrote & or directed, starting with: All in the Family & it's spinoff, were hysterical. I grew up in the 70s, so I saw these shows first hand. It was an absolute pleasure. He sure is a slice of history. He lived a long life. Ten decades+1, I'll say that's a blessing. God bless.

I was privileged to meet Mr. Lear when I was cleaning his house with a team from a cleaning company from Hawaii. He was so kind and decent to us, who were just there for a short time. He left this world such a better place for his time here. Thankfully he was here for a good time. My deepest condolences to his family.

I knew this day would come but was hoping not for another ten years. The man who waved a magic wand and gave me the career I´d dreamed of since childhood has left for a very special corner of heaven. No doubt already having a cigar with Carl Reiner and Jimmy Durante and Carroll O´Connor and all the other comedy magicians. It will be strange not to be able to call him up and run a line by him, or just to talk. So Norman, once you settle into your new digs and have some time to catch up reading social media posts, I want you to know how much I love you and that I´ll miss you for the rest of my life. I hope you´re one of the five people I meet in heaven. Sweet dreams old friend...until we meet again...
