Not sure what to say?

I was nerdy and non-athletic in my school years in Woodstock and as a result got picked on a lot; not bullied per se, but regularly dissed. Norman was, frankly, among my tormentors. But we all grow up and evolve. I am pleased that Norman lived such a full life and gave so much to his family and community. I can´t say why just today I decided to google Norman but am glad I did. I am about six years late but wish his family all the best.

Donna and family,
I am so sorry for your sadness and pain. Please forgive me for not being there to hug you during your time of greatest need. I know that God has carried you through this difficult time and where you will only see one set of footprints in your life. Know that Norm is there ahead of us and will be there to greet you when you go home. Stay strong and know that soon (And very soon!) we are going to see the King!! Let God comfort you as no other can! Love to you all,

David & Debra Balberchak

Dear Donna,

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss of Norman. You do have my love and caring support. Norm was just so wonderful to know. And actually, the
"knowing" was so unpredictable, don't you think? At least for me, he was full of surprises, which seemed to make him happy! He had such a strong spirit, of keen opinion, and held his own. I always respected that he was not about conforming to everything, but about pressing ahead, questioning, challenging, and working out his own salvation. These are the type of friends that "sharpen you" like iron sharpens iron. And then, of course, he was a barometer of so much besides the temperature in FFC sanctuary! He watched out for other people who could be overlooked and kept us all on our toes to be diligent in well-doing for disenfranchised people. He is a reminder that we should never disregard the gifts resident in the Body of Christ, as we need everyone giving there best at their best. He will be missed, and always, will be remembered.

I say these words, to you, Donna, with my deep love for you and your sons, and of course, my deep love and appreciation for Norm's life as his former pastor at FFC and more importantly, a sister in the faith.

With fond affection in Jesus' name,

Dianne Holland Pilcher

Dear Donna,

I am shocked and saddened in hearing of the loss of your husband and best friend.

You and Norman were one of the first families I met at Faith Fellowship in 1991 when it was in Upton. Thank you for opening your arms and hearts and showing me God's unconditional love. I enjoyed Norman's sense of humor, his gift in music, his devotion to his wife, family and most importantly his devotion and commitment to the Lord.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. May God surround you with His angels and wrap you in His arms giving you peace and comfort.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. May the joy of knowing that Norman is in heaven with our Lord and Savior dry your tears and bring you laughter as you reflect on your beautiful life together.

With deepest sympathy,

Dear Mrs. P
I am so sorry to hear that Mr. P has passed. He was a good man and a great example to us growing up. I will never forget growing up at your house, the camping trips, hanging around the house with you guys, and riding in the back of the pickup. He will be missed.

Dear Donna and Family-I am shocked and saddened by Norman's passing. He was such a caring man. He was a patriarch

Know that I truly treasure all the wonderful conversations that I had with him at church. He was such an encourager. He always made me that I was importent and I'm sure others felt the same way. And he was so proud of his wife and children.

While I am happy for his promotion, I grieve his leaving us. I pray that the Lord will make himself known to you now in a very real way.

My deepest sympathy.
