Norman Gene Stafford, also known as Norm, passed away on October 18, 2023, at the age of 94 in Coconut Creek, Florida. He was born on April 7, 1929, in Toledo, Ohio. Norman was a loving father and husband, known for his green thumb and special connection with nature. His beautiful yard was a testament to his love for gardening. Norman also had a playful sense of humor, which he expressed through his drawings.

In his later years, Norman found great joy in the company of his dog, Beau. He cherished their special bond. Norman will be remembered for his kind and nurturing personality.

Norman is survived by his son Martin Stafford (Roberta) of Grand Junction, Colorado, daughters Susan Stafford of Kalamazoo, Michigan, Janice Trumbell (Brad) of Centerville, Iowa, Debra Kilgallin (William) of Falls Church, Virginia, and Cynthia Stafford of Coconut Creek, Florida. He had a great green thumb and loved gardening. His laughter would fill a room. He was an avid reader and enjoyed playing solitaire. He loved life, his wife, family and their dog. I miss and love you, Dad!

Norman was my only first cousin on my mother's side of the family.
He always had a big smile on his face!

A favorite memory of my father is of him reading me stories with great enthusiasm. I felt loved and developed a lifelong love of reading. Today I am a librarian and try to spread the joy of reading to others.
