Norman TRIBE Obituary
On September 21, 2016, Norman George Tribe of Edmonton passed away at the age of 93 years.
Norm was an engineer and a builder. Professionally he built buildings and pipelines, but more importantly he and his wife, Betty, built a strong family. Norm was slow to anger and loved to laugh with Betty and his wide circle of friends. He was a man with high integrity. He was also a great husband, father and grandfather.
Norm will be deeply missed by his son, George (Allison); daughter, Donna; two grandchildren, Lindsey (Clayton) and Cameron; and brother, Harold (Christine). Predeceased by his wife, Betty.
Memorial Service Thursday, September 29 at 11:00 a.m. at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709 – 111 Avenue. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta, NWT & Nunavut, 10985 - 124 Street NW, Edmonton, AB T5M 0H9.

Sorry to hear of Norm's passing. It was our privilege to have been a part of the "lake gang". Their stories, friendships and families became a part of our lives. We will cherish the memories forever.

Norman was my uncle who I grew to love so much when I moved to Edmonton and lived for a while with my 'Edmonton family'. I was welcomed with open arms and a big hug from Uncle Norman, Aunt Betty and his children Donna and George. Uncle Norman was special in his quiet nature and loving ways. And he made me laugh so. Uncle Norman was a very, very special man and will be greatly missed. My condolences and loving prayers go to Donna, George and family, and brother Harold (Christine).
