I only met Norman one time. It was great to meet someone that knew so much about my father, Burton King. My thoughts and prayers go out to Norman's family in this difficult time.

To Joyce, Monty, Ruby, Dorothy and Janis,
I will always remember the great times Norman and I had camping, fishing and discussing all of the world events. I was fortunate to capture a lot of our fishing trips on VHS and have them if anyone would like to see them. These film clips include Norman, Curtis Wright, Alton Simecek, Tommy, Monty and Tracy/Bradley at a younger age, They were made in the mid 80s.
I speak of Norman as one of my best friends and loved him like a brother.
I will miss him, but I know he's in a better place.
God Bless

Norman was a faithful friend. Burton King, Norman and I worked together and spent time together in the late 60's "American Graffitiing" (cruising Port Lavaca and Victoria and headquartering at Land's Drive Inn). Norman was always friendly, had a wonderful sense of humor and a great deep laugh that he shared willingly. He loved driving his new deep blue Chevy while listening to Glen Campbell. Norman and I were pallbearers and comforted his mother when Burton died. Thru the years I saw Norman from time to time. He was always the same and always asked what was going on in my life. Norman loved the water and shared his dream of being a diver many times. During one of our conversations he related he was building a sail boat. I do not know if he ever sailed. My sincere condolences to Norman's family and friends.

Uncle Norman,
I will so miss you!!! You were always like my second father. We share so many memories that have run through my mind a hundred times these last few days. From the Karate kick, to the motorcycles to the fishing trips, Easter gatherings when you were my partner and I didn't care about winning just making sure that egg or balloon broke on you, to the fourth of July's. I could just keep going. I will never ever forgot those blues or that smile that captured all the ladies. You will forever live in my heart!
