My sincere condolences to you Carol and Jill. It was honour and privilege to serve with Norm when he was Minister of Recreation and Parks, along side Carole Shields. He was transparent, compassionate, a sincere gentleman, who served Albertans with his heart on his sleeve--truly one of a kind but his legacy will live on in my heart! I salute you Norm....I'll never forget the impact you made in my life! Joan Ahlsten-Kujala

My deepest condolences to Carol, Jill and family. Mr. Weiss was my first and BEST boss in the Alberta Legislature. Not only was he was a boss, but also a father figure I looked up to and in 1993 at my wedding, gave the toast to the bride and I will forever cherish that memory along with all the others! He taught me morales that today I profess to my children! He will forever live in my heart as a friend and mentor! God Bless you Mr. Weiss!

Sincere Sympathy, Carol and family, for your loss - There is no doubt that you will miss him, but, speaking from experience, your memories of all that you did together, the love you shared, the fun times, the good times, the trying times, and so on, will stay with you always, and will sustain you - Norm had an incredible career in public service, and I, for one, will always remember his honesty, his loyalty, and his desire to think things through so that he made the right decisions, always in keeping with his values. It was a pleasure to know him! My thoughts and prayers are with you and yours!
