Donna and Family, you already know how much we loved Norm. Just sorry Pilar only met him once, but we have lots of pictures and good memories to cling to. The good news is that we will all be together in Heaven.

Dear Donna,

I am so sorry for the loss of your wonderful Norm. I only wish that I had gotten to know him better. At least I knew him well enough to introduce the two of you. He loved you from the first time he laid eyes on you and talked my ears off, not to mention my mom's. I will always remember his warm smile and twinkling eyes.

Soon all of your memories will warm your heart and push all the sorrow away. Until that time know that I am thinking of you and praying for you. I love you. Myrna

3/27/05 Easter Sunday. We celebrate this holiday for a savior rising to heaven. I am certain that Uncle Norm headed upstairs to join the angels. He had a kind heart, a good sense of humor, and loved the good things in life. The good things were mainly his sweetheart wife and his children. He loved them with all his heart. He gave his heart and soul to succeed at whatever goal he needed to meet. This man touched the hearts of his family and friends. He will be remembered for his desire to laugh and enjoy life. He gave HIS best, FOR the best!! I am grateful for the video footage I have from when he and Donna came to visit all of us here in Annandale, Minnesota. We had a good time. To Aunt Donna, Doug, Debbie and their families - may God bring you memories to strengthen you when you are feeling sad. We will all miss him.

It is great when someone comes into your life and impresses you with his abilities. Norm was that kind of person. It was a pleasure to serve with him in the First Baptist Church in Coos Bay.

Dear Donna and family,

I was shocked to read about Norm. I only worked for him for 6 months at AYA in 1990, but I was so impressed with his dedication and support of all of the students and staff. I am sure he influenced many young people to turn their lives around. God has a special place for Norm. Donna, I am so sorry that you did not have more years with your husband......he always spoke so highly of you and your children.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss, and a great loss it is. I cannot attend the services for Norm but wanted to tell you how much he will be missed. I knew Norm through the North Bend Kiwanis and remember how he would light up the meeting when he attended. He always had a smile ready and sometimes a joke (not always a good joke!) for our group. He was a wonderful, giving man. Our prayers are with you.

Norm was our brother in-law, but was more like a "brother." He was so special because he was a caring person who was an excellent husband to my sister Donna, an excellent father and a mentor to our family. He will truly be missed.

We are so sorry to hear of Norm's passing. He was a fine man and we enjoyed his leadership in our Baptist Church in Coo Bay. Donna is in our prayers.
