Mr. Fitzgerald was my very first baseball coach and I will always remember his love of baseball and the "life lessons" that he instilled in each of us while growing up in Martinsville. As I grew older, I will always remember his sense of humor and the way in which he treated others with respect and kindness.
Mrs. Fitzgerald and Jay, please know he is in our thoughts and prayers.
