Robin Gaye Thrapp

ROBIN GAYE THRAPP Age 46, lifelong resident of Riverside, passed away July 4, 2008 at her home in Riverside, due to heart problems. Robin was born 05/08/1962 in Riverside, CA. She was employed by Kaiser Permanente Hospital, Fontana: I.C.U. Charge Nurse for 23 years. She graduated from Ramona H.S. in 1980. She earned her A.A./AS at Riverside Community College, LVN (nursing) in 1982. Attended College of the Desert-RN, 1989 (nursing). She was active in Girl Scouting for 9 years, participated in Western Horse Shows and Gymkana Events during her childhood. At Ramona H.S. she was a member for several years of the Short Flag Pep Squad and active in the Performing Arts. She was Director of Pegasus Educational Therapy Program, Board member-Treasure for Save-A-Pet Riverside, member of One Legacy Kaiser, and many other health and wildlife organizations. She was dedicated to her family, friends, animals, and her job. She enjoyed the world of Disney, crocheting and travel. Robin is survived by her mother, Dorothy Jo Thrapp; sister, Melinda Thrapp Lang, Lori Thrapp Hicks (Corona); brother-in-law, Drew Lang; niece, Tori Lang; nephews, Tyler Lang and Daniel Arriola; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended "family" members. She was preceded in death by her father, Norman E. Thrapp; grandmothers, Granny Urda Thrapp and Grandma Katie Morrison. Visitation Monday, 07/14, 5-8pm with Funeral on Tues., 07/15, 2pm, both at Crestlawn Mortuary. Burial immediately following service at Crestlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to The Robin Thrapp Foundation or Save-A-Pet Riverside.
