While maintaining her wit and humor, Sis. Lucy waited patiently until her Heavenly Father called her name and said, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy Lord". Our thoughts and prayers will be with the entire family during this difficult time. Rejoice in knowing that your Mother is resting safe in the arms of Jesus.

To my cousins, we were truly blessed to have your Mom in this world for 98 years. Please know that I loved my Auntie. She was always so special to me. No one could make my name sound like music to me except for her. As long as I have known her she was giving God praises. Wish I could be there for the services but I will not be able to make it. Please find comfort in knowing that to us she has been our matriarch, our Dad's eldest sister who he loved with all his heart also. Well Done Aunt Lucy, Rest in Peace. Florence Etta Sims- Davis.
