Michael Warner

Michael R. Warner Unity Township Michael R. Warner, 53, of Unity Township, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2012, at home following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born Feb. 6, 1959, in Latrobe, a son of the late Arthur Richard "Dick" and Reta M. (Grimes) Warner. Michael started working as a young man for his father at Arthur R. Warner Co. in Latrobe. After his father's retirement, Michael took over as owner and operator. His lifelong passion and devotion to the business has helped it grow into the successful company it is today. When he wasn't working, Michael enjoyed boating, going to the lake with family and friends and shooting in competitions and at home with his son, Jacob. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sandra L. Warner. He is survived by his wife, Roxanne (Turcheck) Warner; three children, Jaclyn (Zachery Ziolko), Kelsey and Jacob; a grandchild due in January; four siblings, Reta Jo "Jody" Warner, Becky Wajdic (Richard), Scott A. Warner (Precy) and Joanna A. Hunter (Kenneth); numerous nieces and nephews; and his dog, Hemi. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in the HARTMAN-GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME INC., 1500 Ligonier St., Latrobe. A blessing service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Unity Chapel, 114 Chapel Lane, Latrobe, with Father William P. Donahue officiating. Everyone please go directly to Unity Chapel.
