STEFANICK, Gary D.
Born November 9, 1946 in Fort William, Ontario, Canada. Our loving father, brother and friend passed away on April 3, 2004 in Sacramento, CA. He was preceded in death by his parents Peter and Sophie Stefanick and his much loved wife Becky. He leaves behind his loving daughter Jennifer; siblings Larry (Debra), Kenny (Marcy) and Donna (Gene) Strecker. Also survived by his Aunt Mary (Gary) Kannegeisser, nieces, nephews, cousins and his Yorkie, Bear. Also many loving friends, including Mark & Shelley Slater and "the kids". He was a graduate of Hiram Johnson High School, then went on to proudly serve his country in the U.S. Army. When he returned from his service in Germany, he became an Ironworker with Local 118. In his final years he enjoyed spending time driving and working on his 1935 Ford Hot Rod. His family invites any friends or acquaintances to join in a celebration of his life on Saturday, April 10th, at 2PM at the Sacramento Yacht Club (3365 South River Road, West Sacramento CA 95691) for a BBQ and remembrances of the man who will always be in our hearts. Any donations may be made to the charity of your choice. For directions to the Sacramento Yacht Club please call 371-5058 or visit www.sacyc.com
