Paul J. Cushing, Jr. In loving memory of Paul J. Cushing, Jr., a long time resident of the Bay Area, born March 8, 1931, in South Bend, Indiana and passed away April 18, 2004 at home in Walnut Creek, CA. He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Anne Cushing; brothers, John Francis and Robert Peter Cushing; and his wife of 36 years, Diane L. Cushing. He is survived by his beloved children, Paul and his wife Veronica, Keric, Susan and her husband Ken, Linda, and Nancy and her husband, Mahdi; with adoring grandchildren, Joshua, Julia, Michelle, Daniel, Aidan, Katie, and Kristen; beloved sister, Barbara Ann Lewis; brother-in-law, David Lewis; sister-in-law, Sheila Cushing; loving companion and fiancee, Marianne Elliott. A civil engineer by education, he held a B.S. degree from his cherished University of Notre Dame. He had a life-long interest in finance that led him to his career as a mortgage broker. He was honest to a fault in all aspects of his life and will also be remembered forever for his unending precision and attention to exacting detail. We will miss you, Dad. Your ever-loving children. Friends and family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 23, 2004 at St. John Vianney Church, 1650 Ygnacio Valley Road, Walnut Creek, CA.
