Ocea "Daniel" Dalton Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jun. 28, 2025.
It is with profound sadness that the family of Ocea Daniel Dalton, 68, announce his passing. He went to his eternal home in Heaven on June 25, 2025, surrounded by loved ones, after a brief but valiant battle with cancer.

Dan grew up in Morristown and graduated West High School in 1974. He was a celebrity tour bus driver who traveled across the country and Canada with Janet Jackson, Michael Jackson, the Rolling Stones, the WWE and many more. He loved spending family time and going to the favorite places he loved, especially the Smoky Mountains. Dan was an avid Harley Davidson enthusiast and went on long rides/trips with his wife, eldest brother Larry and friends. During his tours, he made many special friends, all of whom offered their love and support to him during his illness.

Dan will always be sadly missed by his wife Cindy Dalton, who was the love of his life and best friend for twenty-five years; his children Chasity Dalton of Talbott, Celia Faulkner, Lisa (Matthew) Cain of Whitehouse; Justin (Tina) Dalton of Talbott; Zachary Dalton of Nashville; David (Joee) Faulkner and Jacob (Christy) Faulkner of Whitehouse; several grandchildren and one great grandchild; brothers Larry Dalton (Micki) of Nashville, Garry Dalton (Joyce) of Morristown; and his mother-in-law Beatrice Ham of Whitehouse. He is preceded in death by his parents M.F. and Kay Dalton of Talbott, and father-in-law William T. Ham.

The family would like to give special thanks to his Hospice nurses.
