Olevia Jane (OJ) Gillespie [1974-2025] was a beautiful, charismatic, eccentric individual who had the energy that gravitated people towards her. Born to the parents Pamela Davis-Hardin and Hector Aponte, in Van Nuys, CA. OJ was raised in Wichita, KS, where she made her home and was known for her compassionate nature, giving spirit, and witty sense of humor. OJ was passionate about music, and for years spent singing with band 'Main McMann and The Difference'. Additionally, OJ gave birth to three beautiful girls. OJ has been proceeded in life by her mother Pamella Ruth Hardin; siblings, Nathaniel Shane Clark (48), Hardina Boumalhab (43), Dhalia Boumalhab (40), Malhab Boumalhab (39), and Kyrouz Boumalhab (36); ex husband Tim Gillespie, daughters Moriah and Alyssa Gillespie; ex partner Brian Keith Hudson; Daughter Keirsten Demoret, and son-in-law Brett Demoret.

Olevia Jane follows in death her grandmother Billie Gene Hardin, father Hector Aponte, and uncle Paul Hardin.

Olevia Jane's personality brought warmth and joy to everyone she encountered and her passing will be mourned deeply by everyone who knew and loved her. OJ's memory will remain in the hearts of her family, friends, and all

Olevia was one of the most beautiful, full of charisma, free spirited individuals I've known. Her voice was beautiful,as was her heart. You will be truly missed.

Olevia and I grew up together from Middle school at Horace Mann up to North High. So many beautiful memories we shared together as teenagers on Jackson street. Thankfully we found each other on Facebook a few years ago.
I wish we had got together to catch up as we said we would.
She will be missed.

So many amazing memories of you, that was just who you were all the time with everyone...but what I keep hearing on the wind is your laughter and you singing...and the memories first comes to mind is you helping me when I was drowning in sadness from not seeing my kids and then later me doing the same for you. But mostly the rest are good or great and happy because that's who you were in most situations. If we all could be so truly blessed with that ability! It made you strong, like nothing else could ever match. Oh my beautiful friend, you are truly a devastating loss to humankind because you spread so much light in the darkness. You are so loved and will be missed more than words could ever convey!!! To your daughter's, your mom and sister my deepest most comforting energy and all the love I had for Olivia goes out to all of you.
