The Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Annette Culpepper of Pine Mountain will be Saturday, June 21, 2014 at 11:00AM at the Bethany Baptist Church in Pine Mountain. Rev. William Robinson will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Culpepper, a native of Meriwether County, was born February 12, 1948 and was the daughter of Sallie Kate McGruder and the late Benny McGruder. She was previously employed with Georgia-Pacific and joined Trinity C.M.E. Church at an early age. Later she united with the Bethany Baptist Church where she served on the Usher Board.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Sallie Kate McGruder, Durand, GA; three loving children: Micheal McGruder, Sheila Parks (James), Chantel Perryman; stepson, Stanley Johnson; two sisters: Johnnie Claude McGruder and Shirley Williams; thirteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Culpepper; brother, Willie James McGruder; grandson, Micah Ellison; daughter-in-law, Alicia McGruder; and special friend, Charles Spratling.
The family will be at the home of her daughter, Chantel Perryman at 14123 GA Highway 18 in Pine Mountain.
