Olivia Manwiller Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jun. 25, 2025.
It is with deep sorrow and regret we share the devastating news that Olivia Jade Manwiller, 27, of Colorado Springs, Colorado has passed away at 8:17pm on May 21st, 2025 at UCHealth Memorial Hospital Central.

Olivia was born on October 6th, 1997 at 6:02 am in Rapid City, South Dakota on Ellsworth Air Force Base to Helena and Michael Manwiller. She is the middle child to her two other siblings, Tyler, her older brother, and Hannah, her younger sister.

Olivia graduated from Air Academy High School in 2016 and proceeded to receive an associates in science at Pikes Peak State College. Olivia was an incredibly hard worker. Working as a bartender for several years and helping in creating a great community of people.

Olivia was a very active competitive cheerleader and went on to coach several high school programs. She touched many lives and it was beautiful to see all of the people that showed up for her at the hospital and to hear how she helped them in deep, personal ways, as well as helping them achieve athletically.

She was so dearly loved by her brother, Tyler, and I. The three of us will never be the same. It saddens me that it could not be the three of us the way it used to be before this happened, but Tyler and I have the greatest guardian angel out there. I often tell the story of us playing "server" with plastic bags, or "airport security" making Tyler protect us like celebrities in the airport. I do wish we all got more time together, but that time shall come. There is, of course, an entire book's worth of memories I would love to share, from our late night laughs to traveling the world, but that can be shared at a different time. Olivia, you are so loved by all close friends and family, and your life deserves to be celebrated. Olivia is survived by her mother Helena, Mike, brother Tyler, and sister Hannah.

Now, if I may move on to a more sentimental note I personally would love for others to read. Grief is strange. Olivia, as we all can agree, was the best person to have ever known. The most beautiful, inside and out. The most intelligent. She was a random facts person, it was awesome. She knew so many random things about geography that she would always make me laugh when we were outside and she would point out a detail on a rock and smack me with a list of things I didn't know. And my god, was she funny. Never have I laughed with anyone harder and I don't know if I ever will again, and to save that for her, I am willing to forgo all laughter until I see her again. She was the greatest thing that ever happened to me and I am so lucky to be her sister. Our family fell apart on a very aggressive note and it broke my heart more than anything when our relationship went quiet for a few years. I always felt her out there. Our soul bond. She was my soulmate, and that I know, would never change. Not through the anger or deception of anything around us. We could be mad at each other but I know and felt our love for one another never stopped. I don't care how mad you were ever at me or me at you, we are sisters forever.

I am so intensely happy so many of you knew her and loved her like I did. To hear and see how many people loved her and felt changed by her, I carry that with me with such gratitude. It makes my heart smile so many people got to experience her. I wasn't around a lot in the end, and that is something only Olivia and I understand why. But, thank you to everyone for giving her your love and thanks and appreciation. She deserved all of it and it has been amazing to see, so thank you everyone and please keep sending her your love.

May she rest in the most graceful of peace. The sky feels different and the Earth spins on a different axis now. It feels hard to breathe without you. The colors don't look the same. I feel my tether to you is gone, but I look forward to death to be able to experience you again, my dear sister. May you fly forever high, and forever in peace. I love you. We all love you. What a life you have lived, and may you guide ours now.

Until death connects us again. You have all of my love.

Hannah this is such a great tribute to your beautiful sister. Unfortunately I never had the honors of meeting the beautiful Olivia. I have no doubt that she carried the same good natured, free spirited, caring and loving charm as you, your mama and Tyler. Moving forward some days are going to be harder than others and you will have to navigate through turbulent waters. I want you to know that you won´t have to do this alone. You all have one hell of a support group around you when those days seem to be unbearable. Keep your head held high keep spreading the great memories of your beautiful sister and keep her great spirit alive. I will always be there for you, Tyler and your mom. I Love you all.

I Love you kiddo
