Mrs. Ollie Mae Dickey of Huntsville, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2009, at her residence. She was 94 years old. Funeral services for Mrs. Dickey will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 30, 2009 at the New Life Church, located at 512 11th St. in Huntsville. The Rev. Roland C. Oliphant will preside over the services. The Rev. Bobby Joe Rigsby is the pastor. Public viewing will be held from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, May 29, 2009, at the Cox Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Dickey leaves a legacy of love and devotion in the hearts of her loving family: son, Johnny Ray Hawkins; daughters, Mary Simmons, Emma Heard, Leomia Johnson, Joyce Pace (Arthur), Katherine Crooks, Lillie Glaze Okezie, Lillian Ross, Maxceen Crawford, and Annie Jones; daughter-in-law, Edna Fay Dickey; 42 grandchildren; 80 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; five nieces; three nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
