Ollie McCray Obituary
Verona - Ollie Thomas McCray, 93, husband of Geraldine (Demastus) McCray, of Verona, died Thursday, March 11, 2021 at Augusta Health.
He was born September 12, 1927 in Augusta County, a son of the late Ollie S. and Julia Catherine (Arehart) McCray.
Mr. McCray was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served in Pearl Harbor.
Prior to retirement, he was employed by Staunton Machine Works as a bookkeeper for over 25 years.
Tommy was an avid fisherman and sports fan.
In addition to his wife, family members include numerous cousins and a dear cousin, Debbie Watson.
He was preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey Alan McCray.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, March 15, 2021 in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Russell Heinrich. Burial will follow in Augusta Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
