Mark Whipple Obituary
Born in Ashland, he was a son of Emma Spiece Whipple, Girardville, and the late Emlem Whipple.
He had been employed as a welder for Goulds Pumps, Ashland.
Mark was of the Methodist faith and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
In addition to his mother, Mark is survived by his son, David Whipple, Girardville; a brother, Emlen Whipple, Chicago; three sisters, Susan McMahan, Girardville, Nancy Whipple, Ashland, and Deborah Whipple, Chicago; his companion, Marguerite Jessman, Girardville; nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, Girardville, with the Rev. Robert Smith officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the time of the service Friday. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
