I first met Olympia and Pio while stationed in Japan when I wanted to marry their niece Ching. According to old Philippine tradition, I had to ask the most senior relative around for permission. I don't think Auntie, as we called her, was too happy at first but after Uncle questioned me they gave permission. We would call them every New Year and Ching would talk to them far a long time catching on the years events. In 2006 we finally went to San Diego to see them and spent a long time just talking and remembering old times. It was the highlight of our trip and they had a great time. We were forever grateful that they said yes and let us get married. I know it hurt them when Ching passed away and I know Ching was happy to see Auntie when she arrived in Heaven. I will miss her greatly. She is at peace now. I pray God will help Uncle get through his loss. I wish peace for the family knowing Auntie is in Heaven watching down on all of you.

Very sorry for the loss of our sister in Christ... she is enjoying her eternal reward and will be remembered by all who knew and loved her for her beautiful spirit and devotion to our Lord.
