To my cousin Omar... The first to welcome me back into the Alvarez family. Our time together was short, but the memories we had will live with me forever. We love you and we will miss so very much. Rest easy up there.

Dear Portia, Amor and family,

Indeed it is so sad that Omar left us so quickly and shockingly now realizing we will not see his smiles, we will not hear his voice, we will not taste the food he would have shared with us, we will not smell his scent but we will always feel his presence as we remember the Omar we loved because he was so loving and caring.

Yes, no one understands the abrupt departure of our Omar, but God sees the beauty of life, the best intentions in Omar's heart to be with us longer that was cut short off so suddenly.

Let us all praise God for Omar now is with Him. The temporariness of everyone's life is a reality. Let us all treasure Omar's good deeds and laughter that contributed to our well being.
