Sorry we could not attend the service . We offer our sympathies to Mark Graham and Brent.
We cherish the memories of many visits to Canada of Omar and family. And our visits to Pittsbugh. Frank and Jackie

Omar was a very sweet man with a smile on his face. He was always supportive and was a rational voice. I remember when I was interviewing for a faculty position at Duquesne, after my talk, he came and congratulated me for a nice talk. We shared a common interest in chemistry and at times discussed chemical problems with him. I taught with him and found to be student centric. Later he started writing poetry and often science/education based. He would read those to us which was really nice to hear. He was a gentleman, and will be missed.

I remember Omar's beautiful smile and kindness at Duquesne University. He would brighten my day whenever I would see him. I am sorry for your loss.
