Opal Smith Obituary
Opal was the beloved wife of the late George H. Smith, Sr., the loving mother of Alison Smith of Lynn, George H. Smith, Jr. of Lynn, Sharon Hristopoulos of Salem, and Lori Ann St. George of New Zealand; sister of Garnet Dixon, and the late Ralph Dixon, Clarence Dixon, Pauline Metzler, Josephine Dixon, and Helen Dixon; grandmother of Georgia Hristopoulos, Christopher Hristopoulos, Anastassia Hristopoulos, Natalie Hristopoulos, Bethany St. George, Danae St. George, and Wessley St. George; and her great-grandchildren, Karla and James Lewis.
Opal was raised and educated in Bangor, ME and was a high school graduate.
At the request of the family, all services will be held privately. Arrangements by the CUFFE-McGINN FUNERAL HOME, 157 Maple St. Lynn. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Opal's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 480 Pleasant St. Watertown, MA 02472.
