Mrs. Piper was my school principal at Turner Elementary. It is amazing how i remember her so vividly after all of these years. She was so tall and elegant and graceful. I still remember her signature on my report card. I could not tell you the name of any other principal that i had at any of the schools i attended, so that lets you know what an impact she had. Rest in Power Mrs. Piper.

Know her doing my Turner Elementary years she was a lady you can go n talk to with out it being problem

I will always cherish the memories of my Aunt driving us to and from school from the West End to 3rd ward to go to school as kids. We had fun and at times we had issues (as do most siblings) but her faithfulness taught us what it meant to be true & faithful to your word & duty. Many students benefited from her wisdom and knowledge. Grateful to God for her longevity. Also appreciative to Diane, my cousin, for her faithfulness in taking care of Aunty in her golden years.
