Orbil Solorzano

Gone much too soon
The world lost a valiant brother and a family said farewell for a while to a cherished example on August 31, 2013 as Orbil Solorzano took his final mortal breath and went to meet his Maker and his family, especially his dear Madre, Juliana Monge Solorzano, on the other side of the veil. He constantly mourned his mother's passing in 2003.
Born into poverty on December 23, 1969 in San Luis del Carmen, Chalatenango, El Salvador, he lived a very humble life. His father, Mariano Antonio Solorzano, was determined to better the family's lives in the United States and first brought Orbil's mother. Orbil and his siblings escaped their war-torn country and immigrated to Provo, Utah in 1981. Through determination, he graduated from Provo High School where he played soccer, football and wrestled. He mentored and influenced a number of young boys and girls in soccer, seeing many of them play competitively in high school and college.
He married the love of his life Eliesa Moana Wilson on October 27, 1990 in Lehi, Utah (later solemnized in the Provo LDS Temple). Orbil graduated from UVSC in 1994 with an Associate of Applied Science in Fire Fighting and began his fire career as a volunteer at Springville, continuing his service at Logan, South Salt Lake, Riverton and South Jordan where he retired as an Engineer. He was loved and respected by all who knew him in the fire service.
Their daughter Stefani was born in 1991 and their son Tyler completed the family circle in 1994. Hunting, four-wheeling and working on his truck and motorcycles with his wife and children and numerous friends and siblings were the few relaxing moments of his life.
Orbil loved his Savior and had a belief in the hereafter where he yearned to be with his ancestors. He is preceded in death by his mother, grandfathers, and a brother Mario. In addition to his wife and two children, he is survived by his father, his grandmother Blanca Argelia Monge, siblings: Jose (Idalia), Sulema (Victor Recinos), Marleni (Roberto Molina), Ana (David Wilson), Sonia (Angel Najarro), Josias (Laura), and Susana (Carlos Vasquez), numerous nieces and nephews whom he loved and doted over always, uncles and aunts and in-laws Tracy and Glenna Wilson, brothers and sisters-in-law, and many friends and co-workers.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 7, 2013 at 10 a.m. in the Lehi Gateway Stake Center, 2150 No. Pointe Meadow Dr. in Lehi. There will be a viewing at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 East 200 South, Springville, Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. and Saturday at the church one hour prior to the services. Interment will be in the Lehi City Cemetery.
