Orice K. Pawluk

Orice K. (O.K.) Pawluk, 81, of Mesa, AZ passed away June 22, 2004. Orice was born November 15, 1922 in Tappen, ND and is survived by his wife of 55 years, Eleanor. He also leaves behind two sisters, seven children and their spouses, thirteen grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. All will miss him greatly. O.K. served in the Marines during WWII. He was stationed in the South Pacific and was one of the first troops into Nagasaki, Japan after the war for their repatriation. After the war, he returned to ND and began a 29 year career with Northwestern Bell. In 1949 O.K. and Eleanor Wolsky were married in Dazey, ND. They purchased O.K.'s family farm in Litchville, ND in 1963. In 1977 O.K. retired from farming and the phone company, moved to AZ, and began his third career in real estate. O.K and Eleanor have lived in Mesa since 1980. A private Military service will be held at Mountain View Memorial Gardens. Family and friends are invited to a memorial service to honor his life at Victory Lutheran Church, 5946 E. University Dr., Mesa, on Saturday June 26 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to Help Service, Inc., 5210 E. University Dr, Mesa, or the charity of your choice.
