Orlando James Moore, affectionately known as P.Nutt, passed away on October 19, 2024, at the age of 65. He was the first child of the late James Moore, Jr. and Katie Louise Beddingfield Moore.

Orlando's educational journey began at B. S. Ingram Elementary and continued at Maude C. Pye Elementary, where he graduated from 7th grade. He completed his studies at Ballard Hudson Junior High and graduated from Southwest High School in 1977 in Macon, Georgia. He furthered his education with courses at Central Georgia Technical College.

A passionate mechanic, P.Nutt loved working on cars and had a knack for fixing all sorts of things. He had a deep love for the Lord and a profound affection for people. His generous spirit drove him to help others, always striving to make their lives easier and happier. Known for his sense of humor, he filled his family and friends with joy, laughter, and unforgettable entertainment.

P. Nutt was baptized at New Hope Baptist Church and later became a dedicated member of Covenant Life Cathedral. There, he served in multiple roles, including on the Leadership Team, as Department Head of the Transportation Ministry, and in the Pastor and First Lady Appreciation Committee. He also coordinated the Food Bank and participated in several other ministries, reflecting his commitment to service and community.

He is survived by his sons, Orlando D. Moore (Takeisha) and Jovorious Moore; his sisters, Bridgitte Moore Smith, Natalie Moore Duncan (Charlie), and Pamela Moore Billingslea (Samuel); his only living aunt, Leila Beddingfield Dinkins; and his cherished grandchildren, O'Zariah Dhakiya Moore and Orlando D'Antoni Moore Jr. Additionally, he leaves behind nieces and nephews, numerous great-nieces and great-nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
