Orlene Ankeney

Orlene Marie Ankeney, 83, of Greeley, passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at UC Health in Greeley. She was born December 5, 1938 in Lincoln County, Oklahoma to Oran and Cleda (Johnson) Campbell. She grew up in Eaton and graduated from Eaton High School. Orlene married Dewey Ankeney on December 9, 1961 in Greeley. She was a homemaker. She loved baking, reading, and antiquing. She was a member of the DD Club in Briggsdale. Orlene is survived by her husband Dewey of Greeley; her daughters, Delene Davis and husband Dan of Briggsdale and Debbie Wellman and husband John of Hamilton, CO; her grandchildren, Danelle Davis of Greeley, Danny Davis and wife Samantha of Briggsdale, Eric Wellman of Hamilton, Lyndi Cuellar and husband Luis of Daily City, CA and Emily Story and husband Joseph of Greeley; her great-grandchildren, Quin, Kennedy, Reagan, Eleanor, Hampton, Charlotte, and Natalie; and her brother Gary Campbell and wife Dorothy of LaSalle. She was proceeded by her parents and siblings, Donald Campbell, Bob Campbell, and Darlene Hoskins. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 1, 2022 at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Friends may send condolences to the family at adamsoncares.com.
