Orren Kahnt Obituary
Born in 1941, Orren grew up in Seymour, WI, and attended college in Green Bay. He had a long and successful career in hotel management, working for Holiday Inn, Days Inn, and other hospitality companies. He managed properties in Manhattan, Atlanta, Memphis, West Palm Beach, Silver Spring, and Jacksonville Beach. Orren and his wife, Phyllis, retired to North Port, FL, and then moved to Santa Rosa, CA, and Pinehurst, NC.
In addition to Phyllis, Orren is survived by his daughter, Nancy Pevey, and his stepdaughters, Gahlia Powers and Susan Powers, along with sons-in-law, granddaughters, great-granddaughters, and his niece, Amber Kouba. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Lucille Kahnt.

I remember Mr. Kahnt from the Holiday Inn Bethesda in the early 1990's. He was a good leader and a fine person. I think of those days often. Rest in peace, Sir.
