I remember meeting Oscar and his son many times when my children and I would drive to Centerville to visit my mom and step dad, Leona & Bud Teilmann. He was a very wonderful and kind man and will be truly missed. I am very sorry for your loss.

Oscar was a dedicated conservationist and cared deeply for health and productivity of Baumhoff properties in and around Centerville. He was a true steward of the land and skilled forester. I enjoyed driving around Boise County with Oscar and hearing about the rich history of the area. He will be missed.

I want to express condolences to the Baumhoff family for the loss of your father and grandfather. Oscar was a great person and I will always remember him with fondness. He was so proud of his family and was always prepared to share what each of them was involved in. The service was a fine tribute to him and was very appropriate. My life is better because of my association with the Baumhoff family.

My condolences to Oscar's family. I met Oscar when he was about 8 yrs. old and I was 11 yrs. old. my grand parents, Ruby and Wallace McDowell took me to Centerville. When I was 12 yrs. old we moved to Centerville and lived in the house that Oscar eventually lived. My sister , Emma and I attended the one room school house in Centerville with Oscar. Out door bathrooms, and no running water, a wood stove for heat. We snow shoed together, we skied together, we swam in the dredge ponds. Oscar brought information about the Baumhoff-Fischer dredging to Warren the summer of 2012. He did have a wonderful life. He loved Dorothy so very much, and his children gave him great happiness. RIP

Please accept my sincere sympathy on the loss of Oscar. It was a privilege to have known and service him at the bank. I will remember him with great admiration.
Always a welcoming sight; Oscar serving eggs at the 55th Class of '56 reunion. Thanks Oscar. RIP
