Joe Damon Allen

My dad Joe Allen was best friends with "Oscar". As a 6 year growing up the "N.P.C." way it was made crystal clear that he was a man's man. It was automatic to go to the "mill" at least once a day. Oscar always had time to talk to me. He always had a smile. He was always teaching me how to estimate everything from lumber to lawn grass. Always pushing me to be better. Best of all was his sense of humor. My dad and I had many good times with Oscar. I will always remember the good times we had. Joe Damon Allen

We lost a very special man. Along with many others, I worked my way through college with Mr. Kramer encouraging and helping me at every turn. I learned much of what I know about working, dealing with people, and the importance of caring about the welfare of other people from Mr. Kramer. He was a giant of a man because of that big, big heart. I love you, Mr. Kramer. Most of all, I admire this man because he was a follower of Jesus.

I too will miss this Man. My Neighbor and Friend for so many years, I could stop by anytime for anything and be greeted with a smile and a helping hand. No matter what, always glad to help out. You did not even need to ask. He just seemed to know what to do, and who was in need. The Neighborhood will surely suffer a great loss with you gone. You touched so many lives in so many ways. You will always hold a special place in my heart. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of your many friends. John, Charles, and Bobby. Please know, I'm here for you. Ted

I will miss our dear neighbor so very, very much! It was hard enough to lose dear Rita, but now with Oscar gone, living in this neighborhood won't be the same. John, Charles and Bobby, your father loved each of you so very much. Don't ever doubt that fact. He was definitely one of a kind and I am so thankful that I had an opportunity in this lifetime to have him and his beloved Rita as our friends and neighbors. I love you Oscar. You and Rita will always remain alive in my heart....Sue

Mr. Kramer - my mother (Doris Barron) worked for NPC for many years, until her death in 1984. She was loved by many, so I'm sure you knew one another. She, Mr. Copus & Mr. Phillips were probably standing at Heavens gate waiting to welcome you, along with your beloved wife.
RIP.
