MELIA (Ottaviano):
Born on 1.4.1926 Bivongi, Italy. Passed away peacefully 11.6.2014 surrounded by loving family. Dearly loved husband of Vittoria and adored father of Claudia and Adriana. Father-in-law to Robert and Alby, treasured Nonno of Amy, Hellen, Marc, Eleanore and Gabriella. Bis-nonno to Nathan, Jarred, Bianca and Eva. Sincere thanks to Doctors and staff at RPH, staff at Vincent House and the Italo-Australian Welfare and Cultural Centre for their kind and compassionate care.

To my adored husband, over 54 years together, we travelled long distances and endured many hardships, but our love was our strength and our bond. Only once in this time were we apart when you left our home country to find us a better life. Now you leave me for the last time, taking your infectious smile. You leave my heart and home with a great void but our love lives on. Nino mio, always in my heart

Papa, how we will miss your smile, your love, your beaming face whenever you saw us. You lived for your family and children. Never a selfish moment, never an idle moment. Although you may not physically be with us now, your spirit and your love will live on in our hearts. Words cannot express the void you leave, but the love and devotion you gave us will live on forever.
