Ovide A. Gendreau

My condolences to the Gendreau family, Ovide was an incredible, power of example to a very sick young man, who stumbled through the doors of the HVF in July of 1981 and was instrumental, in part, in introducing myself to a new life, a life beyond my wildest imaginings, which to this day, I am still just beginning to comprehend. I worked with Ovide at Heartview. His gruff exterior didn't fool me and we enjoyed many laughs together ! He affectionately named me "Twiggy" and would call me by that name whenever he saw me. Even in public ! He was a true gentleman and such a kind caring soul. He will be missed by many. Prayers to his family and may his beautiful soul rest in peace.

Ovide was a very special caring man, I spent many hour's sitting on the back porch at Marleen and Wayne's discussing many things. He could talk on many subjects we had some very enjoyable times together. To the Gendreau family so sorry for your loss.
