Owen Roland Mattson

My sincere condolences to the Mattson family. I have first met Owen in Vienna, then in Minneapolis and in the past we worked together for a Columbian project. Owen was a brilliant person and had always a good sense of humour. It was a pleasure to work with him and we spent a wonderful time together at work and private.
He visited me also for vacation at my home in Vienna and with my family we spent a wonderful week together. We can still hear the characteristic "Owen laugh" and we are very sorry and sad to hear that it became silent now.

Owen we will miss you ....

I am Owen's godchild (Autumn). My brother (Austin and I will always have fond memories of Owen. Owen will always be in our thoughts and prayers. We will miss and love you forever. Autumn and Austin Mattson

My sincere condolences to the Mattson family. I have first met Owen at the University of Minnesota where he was studying Electrical Engineering at the Institute of Technology. Since then we have remained friends and we occasionally met eventhough we were leaving in different continents. Besides being a brilliant person he was always fun to be with and the parties at the house we were renting were always a big success. Eventhough he left early from life, he lived every minute of it, and I can still hear his characteristic laugh in the background. He traveled to all the continents and he often visited me in Australia and Cyprus. I will always remember Owen and the good times we had together....

My condolences to to the Mattson family, I was sorry to hear of his passing. I too, worked with Owen at Siemens, and he was always just a nice guy, polite, and a good sense of humor. He always had time to stop and talk, even when he was busy. Owen will surely be missed, but never forgotten.

My sincere condolences to Owen's family. We graduated from high school together. He was one of the most brilliant people I've ever met. I have nice memories of Owen, and am sorry to hear of his passing.

I worked with Owen in the old Plymouth, MN building and when we were both in Vienna, Austria. One Saturday in Austria we rented a car and spent the whole day driving around the country just to see what we would see - I think we drove about 300 miles that day. Another time he tried to teach me percussion by just beating out rhythms with his hands on a table top. Conversation was always easy with Owen. My sincere condolences to his family

I would also like to offer my condolences to the family. I worked with Owen for many years at Control Data and always remember him as a very upbeat and cheerful person with a great sense of humor.
I am sure that he will be missed greatly.
