I was a student of Mrs. Baker's at HCJC in Athens, TX 1968-70. I also worked for her there through a student employment program. I will remember her generosity of deed and spirit for the remainder of my life.

Paul and Kanita,

I am so sorry for the loss of your mother. She was truly a very special lady. In her first year as the sponsor of PTK in 1969-1970, I was the president. She and about 10 of us traveled to PTK conventions in Oklahoma and Florida. Many of us had never been out of Texas at the time, so it was a real adventure for all of us. She provided so much direction and encouragement in our lives. She remained a special friend to us ever since. She was always so proud of her family and students. She will be greatly missed by all of us.

I was a student of Mrs. Baker in the 1980's in Athens, Texas. She was the sweetest, most understanding lady. I am sorry to hear of her passing and hope her family finds comfort in the many lives she touched.

Friends,

Many of you will remember Paige Baker
as a friend to TVCC and DKG.

She was Business Dept Chair for many years @ TVCC.
She was a true delight to work with in Epsilon Epsilon.
I have many fond memories of planning and chapter meetings
in her home--which was as warm as she was.

Paige was always such an upbeat and positive person.
Our physical world is a little greyer for her loss.

Mittie Lee (my mother) remembers learning to play bridge with Paige at her house. There were babies all around the floor and it was play a card and feed the babes. We knew Paige and Howard for many years and shared church with them. Paige always said to mother that I was her favorite.

Paige was truly a fine Christian lady that will always be in my heart. She was my families rock thru my Grandmothers and Mothers deaths. She will be cherished always. May she rest in peace and happiness with our Lord and her husband, Howard. All my love and prayers to Paul and Kanita.

To the family of Mrs Baker: My heartfelt sympathy goes out to you in the loss of your mother. I met her while a student at Henderson County Jr College. I enjoyed having her as an instructor and I knew I could always go to her with a problem. She was always so kind and friendly no matter where you seen her. May God wrap his arms of love, comfort and strength around you during this time of sorrow. Just remember, you'll always have her in your thoughts and memories, she's not gone, she's just away, watching over you as your guardian angel.
