PALMER ANDERSON

ANDERSON, PALMER Mr. Palmer "Andy" Anderson, age 91, of Grand Rapids went to be with Lord Tuesday, November 25, 2014. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 67 years Josephine (nee Papa) and his son-in-law, Thomas Huver; brothers, Ray and Ronald Anderson; sister, Lois Renberg; his parents, W. Arthur Anderson and Lillian M. (Carlson) Anderson- Palmer. Surviving are his daughter, Phyllis R. Huver; grandchildren, Michele Huver, Paul Huver and Jillisa (Dan) Fitzgerald; great-grandsons, Daniel and Thaddeus Fitzgerald, sister Meta Johnson, several nieces and nephews. He was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Army during WWII serving in the South Pacific. Andy was a retiree of the U.S. Postal Service as a clerk. He enjoyed reading and shopping. He was a member of St. Alphonsus Church where a Mass of Christian Burial and Committal will be celebrated Tuesday 11 AM. He will repose at church one hour prior to the Mass. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. His family will receive visitors Monday 4-7 pm at the Arsulowicz Brothers East Mortuary, 937 Michigan NE. Memorial contributions to St. Alphonsus Building Campaign Fund will be appreciated.
