Pamela Babb
September 13, 1960 - August 21, 2021
Charlotte, North Carolina - Pamela Hall Babb, 60, of Charlotte, took her heavenly flight home on Saturday, August 21, 2021. She was born on September 13, 1960 in Harlan, KY to the late Sylvia and Hubert Hall.
Pam grew up in Harlan, KY but relocated to Charlotte, NC where she attended college and met the love of her life, Roger Babb. After relocating to Charlotte, NC, Pam began working with Mecklenburg County as Clerk of Superior Court, where she was employed for over two decades until her passing.
Anyone that knew her - whether as Bubbles, Maw Maw, Mom, or just Pam - would tell you that her passion in life was her family. Pam was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She was the type of person who would do anything for those she loved and she was no stranger to making sacrifices to benefit others.
Pam was preceded in death by her father, Hubert Hall; her mother, Sylvia Larkey Hall; her step-father, Roy Hall; her sisters, Joanna Shepherd, Norma Collins, Benita Decker, and Vicki Roland; and her brothers, James Hall and Michael Hall.
Pam is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Roger Babb; her daughter, Carol Shipes and husband, Brian; her son, Carlos Babb and wife Meagan, all of Charlotte, NC; her grandchildren, Brittany Turner and husband, Shelton, Brianna Shipes, Patience Shipes, Belle Shipes, Haeley Shipes, Brian Shipes II, Randy Shipes, Shiana Shipes, Stevin Shipes, Brisen Shipes, Ethan Babb, and Liam Babb; her great-grandchildren, Sarah Turner and Alaina Hicks; her brother, Roger Hall of Corbin, KY; her sisters, Helen King of Clarksville, TN, Jane Seale, Melanie Hall, and Paula Webb, all of Corbin, KY.
The family will receive guests from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Ranch Road Church of God, 1601 Ranch Road in Charlotte. The service will be held at 1:00 pm at the church with Pastor Phillip King officiating.
To honor Pam's wishes, please do not send any flowers, however guests are welcome to support the family by donating to Carol's cashapp, $CarolShipes.
